Once a new patient has had an opportunity to discuss their recommended treatment options with Dr. Williams, Karen (our office manager) will personally
take time with each patient to go over everything that relates to their individual treatment plan. This includes the total cost, expected patient
payments and the sequence of appointment scheduling. For patients who are fortunate to have dental insurance benefits, an estimate of their insurance
reimbursement will be factored in to the overall finance plan. We do our very best to keep the patient informed concerning anticipated expenses and payments.
It is our office policy to file insurance claims as a courtesy to the patient and wait a reasonable period of time for the expected reimbursement.
* Patient co-payments are due and payable on the day of services.
Please note: Not all services may be covered by your insurance carrier and every
insurance plan has its own "quirks" and exceptions. It becomes the
patient's responsibility to cover procedures that are not covered by their insurance plan.
Our office has several options available for the payment of dental treatment. Several of these options allow patients to receive the dental treatment they
desire now, while allowing them to spread out their payments over time. ůMany of our patients choose to pay for their charges on a personal credit card.
This option offers an immediate grace period before payment is due. A significant number of the major cards offer incentives for cash back rewards or
airline/travel miles. We currently accept Mastercard/Visa and Discover cards.
The next most popular payment option is a line of credit from a healthcare financing company we have partnered with for several years,
CareCredit. Interest free options for 3, 6 or 12 months are available. Dr. Williams pays a fee to CareCredit to allow the patient interest-free
financing. Patients pay a minimum payment monthly to the finance company, but must be certain to pay off the balance of the account within the promotional
interest-free period of time. Extended payments for 2, 3 or 4 years are also available at a 9.9% APR. An application for financing can be made in our
office and approvals are verified within 15 minutes. In addition, CareCredit has an online application process that patients can access from the privacy
of their own homes. Dental charges can be applied against your CareCredit account for the specific period of time you choose.
Many patients today do not have the benefit of dental insurance. To assist with lowering their dental costs, we offer an "in-house" membership plan
(The Good News Plan). This membership-only plan is available at a $120.00 annual fee per member. For $300.00 a Family Plan membership can be purchased,
regardless of the number of immediate family members. Some of the plan benefits include a 50% reduction of new patient exams and Panoramic x-rays, as
well as a 20% reduction of any incurred dental fees for 12 consecutive months. Ask us for more details when you schedule an appointment.
